Welcome to The White House Nursery |
|

The White House Nursery was first opened in 1987 and was the first
nursery of its kind in Derbyshire. Since
those early days the nursery has expanded and developed to meet the needs of "today's parents" and their
children.
White House Nursery is situated in a large two storey house
which has been totally renovated and
extended to meet the needs of all children aged 0-5 years. At the
White House Nursery you will find a warm welcome where we endeavour to meet
the individual requirements of all our
families needs. We value excellent communication between all our staff and
parents which ensures a smooth introduction to the nursery for all our
children.
As safety and security are of paramount importance to us, we have
installed a finger print recognition
system which controls the entrance to the nursery and allows parents to
decide who can pick up their child. We also have a number of CCTV cameras around the building's entry and exit points.
In March 2010 we had the large garden area redeveloped to
provide the most amazing outdoor learning environment. This area has been
invaluable in allowing the children to explore, have fun, be independent,
make choices and learn in all areas of the curriculum.
We hope that you are able to take the time to
visit the White House and if you have any further queries in the meantime please do not hesitate to contact us.
